Pork Spareribs Asian Style Recipe for Two

Pork spareribs Asian style, as you would expect, uses soy sauce but adds pineapple juice and chunks. If you prefer, use other fruits such as peaches, Mandarin oranges or apricots. Easy peasy to make. Easy peasy to eat.


  • 2 lbs. pork spareribs separated into single ribs
  • 1 8 oz can pineapple chunks, packed in its own juice
  • 1/4 C soy sauce
  • 1 pkg. pork coating mix


  • Pre-heat oven to 350 F.
  • Line a baking sheet with heavy-duty aluminum foil.
  • Place pineapple chunks and juice into a bowl. Add soy sauce and whisk until well combined.
  • Coat ribs with the sauce.
  • Roll the ribs in coating mix until fully covered.
  • Place ribs on baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Top ribs with pineapple chunks.
  • Bake for 45 minutes.
