Rotisserie Turkey Breast

by Jen Stevens

This Rotisserie Turkey Breast is simple to make in a standard oven. Simply turn the roast manually, and baste with a savory blend of sweet and zesty spices for a delicious dinner perfect any time of the year.

Ingredients

4 Tbsp butter, room temperature
1 tsp garlic, minced
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cloves, minced
1/4 tsp curry powder
1 (5 lb) turkey breast
1/4 cup water
1 cup orange juice

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350F degrees.

Combine butter, garlic, cinnamon, salt, cloves and curry powder until it becomes a spreadable consistency.

Rub the turkey with the mixture, completely covering the entire breast.

Fit a V neck rack into a shallow roasting pan and place the turkey into the rack.

Cook the turkey a total of 1 hour, rotating the breast a quarter turn every 15 minutes to ensure the turkey is browned on all sides equally.

After each turn, baste the turkey with the pan drippings.

Add water as needed to the drippings.

After the final quarter turn, pour the orange juice over the turkey.

Cook an additional 30 minutes or until the internal temperature is 170F degrees.

Allow the turkey breast to stand for 20 minutes before cutting and serving.
