Ingredients

  • 1 (13 lb) whole turkey, thawed
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

Remove the neck and giblets from the turkey.

Rinse the turkey in cold water, then pat dry inside and out.

Place the turkey breast down in a large roasting pan.

Put 1/4 cup of butter into the cavity of the turkey.
