Ingredients
- 1 1/4 Cups of flour
- 1/4 Cup of wheat bran
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1 egg white
- 1 1/2 Cups of skim milk
- 2 Tbsp canola oil
- 1/3 Cup of pecans, chopped
Instructions
Preheat waffle iron.
Combine flour, wheat bran, sugar, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk together egg, egg white, milk and oil.
Stir the wet mix into the dry and blend well.
Fold in pecans.
Cook as directed for your waffle iron.
Makes 6 waffles.
