These simple to make Grilled Pork Chops are seasoned with a homemade rub made with cayenne for a spicy robust taste that mixes well with the smoky barbecue flavor.
Ingredients
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp celery seed
1 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne
4 bone in pork chops, 1 inch thick
Instructions
Combine dry mustard, celery seed, thyme, salt, pepper and cayenne in a bowl.
Rub each pork chop with the spice blend on both sides. Make sure to press the spice firmly into the meat.
Allow the chops to sit for about 25 minutes at room temperature.
Sear the chops for 4 minutes over high heat on the grill, turning once.
Lower the grill to medium heat and cook until the juices run clear (about 8 minutes).
