- 24 oysters in the shell
- 24 fresh lemon slices
- Seafood cocktail sauce
Allow the grill to heat completely.
Clean each oyster shell thoroughly and place them directly on the grill.
Close the lid and check every 3 minutes for signs that the shells are opening.
When the shells begin to open, remove them from the grill. Do not overcook—the oysters will become rubbery if left on the heat too long.
Carefully open the shell leaving the oyster and juice in the lower shell half.
Squeeze lemon over each oyster and serve with cocktail sauce.
