These grilled Apples make a great autumn treat, but are perfect year round. Stuffed with nuts and a sweet cinnamon mix, these apples are quick and easy treats to make. Prepare ahead and take to tailgate parties or on camping trips.

Ingredients
4 large apples
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped fine
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions
Place the walnuts, brown sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl and toss to combine. Set aside.

Slice the top 1/2 inch of each apple off and set next to the apple.

Core the apples and peel about 1/3 the way down.

Divide the walnut filling to stuff each apple.

Replace the top of each apple and wrap tightly in foil.

Place the apples on the grill and cook with the lid closed for 25 minutes on low.

For variety, use pecans or cashews, or substitute the brown sugar for honey or maple syrup.
