- 1 lb. gum drop candies
- 1 lb. seedless grapes, halved
- 1 cup mini marshmallow
- 2 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp water
- 3/4 cup pineapple juice
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1/4 cup flour
Stir gum drops, grapes and marshmallows together in a large bowl.
Fold in pineapple and pecans. Mix well and set aside.
Combine lemon juice, water, pineapple juice, sugar and vinegar into a saucepan.
Place over medium heat and bring to a boil.
Slowly stir in flour until sauce is thick (about 5 minutes).
Remove from heat and allow cooling to about room temperature.
Once cooled, pour the sauce over the gum drop mixture and stir to coat well.
Make sure the sauce is adequately cooled so the candy and marshmallows do not melt. Test the sauce with your fingertip before adding to the mixture.
