Cranberry Salad

This basic Cranberry Salad Recipe is jazzed up with freshly roasted pecans and makes a great appetizer for formal dinners and special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • Romaine lettuce torn into small salad pieces
  • 1/2 cup red onion, sliced
  • 4 Tbsp dried cranberries

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350F degrees.

Place pecans in a shallow roasting pan and cook for 5 minutes or until they become fragrant.

Remove and allow to cool.

Combine lettuce, onion and cranberry in individual salad bowls.

Add in the pecans.

Serve with desired dressing.
