I’m not sure where this recipe emanated, my guess is that a student had a few things left in the cupboards and fridge and a crockpot. That’s fine because most great recipes are born out of necessity and they live forever.
- 3-4 potatoes, sliced thin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1 lb (450 grams) ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (10-1/2 oz â€“ 300 gram) can spaghetti sauce
- Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
Put potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours.
